Vintage Photoshoot with Kelsey

One of my favorite concepts to style is the 1940's and 50's era. I love the Hollywood glamour that is portrayed in female attire, hair and make-up; everything is so polished and feminine. Our location for this shoot was at a cemetery in Vancouver with beautiful crypts and tombstones, so to fit the area, our concept was inspired by a lonely widow that lost her husband in the war.

Queen Of Hearts

Johnny Se Photography

Welp! Our "Queen of Hearts" shoot didn't exactly go as planned. With some extensive planning and styling, the model never showed...or even called for that matter. I've never experienced such poor professionalism in my years of styling. I understand people need to cancel, that is fair, but no call or e-mail...that's unheard of! Anyways, to ensure our time did not go to waste, Sara and I bit the bullet yet again, Thank god for Johnny's ability to make us shine! Enjoy!

Queen Of Hearts

Inspiration

My next shoot with Johnny is going to be inspired by the evil Queen of Hearts. I love fantasy editorials so I'm excited to see the outcome of this project. Photos coming soon!

Spring Time Shoots With Johnny

"Beach Bliss"

My most recent shoot with Johnny Se Photography, was a cold one. We managed to hike our gear down the mountain side to Wreck Beach in Vancouver. The wind was howling but the sun was shining, which from a photographer's stand point, isn't good. But, hey! At least it wasn't raining...

Here Comes Johnny...

So here's the deal, Johnny and I had planned a shoot for the previous Sunday. Everything was signed, sealed and delivered, until the model cancelled last minute. In hopes to save our time and effort, Johnny took the makeup artist, Sara and I out to Vancouver's Stanley Park to snap a few. I have to admit that I've never modeled before and I felt a bit awkward with the stares and poses, but Johnny was very patience and encouraging and in all it ended up being a great and exciting experience.
